iSentia gains on ASX debut

iSentia (ASX:ISD) listed on the ASX yesterday and made an instant impression jumping 43 cents or 21 per cent on early trades.
 
The market intelligence media company was established in 1982 and until recently it was known as Media Monitors. 
 
The company built itself on tracking their client’s media presence; and through a range of acquisitions they have come to dominate the market in Australia.
 
iSentia now employs 1,200 people in 15 countries and with an injection of funds they are said to be focussing on increasing client numbers in Asia and growing their social media offering. 
 
iSentia listed yesterday with an issue price of $2.04, opened at $2.45 and closed at $2.43.
