JB HiFi boosts Q3 sales

JB HiFi Limited (ASX:JBH) has boosted sales by 3 per cent in the March quarter.
 
The electrical retailer made the announcement at the Macquarie Australia Conference and said it plans to have 182 stores open across Australia and New Zealand by the end of the financial year.
 
The company expects total sales to increase by between 6 per cent and 8 per cent on the previous year.
 
In a separate announcement the company said it would spend $27.2 million in a share buy-back of 1.4 per cent of the shares on issue. 
 
JB-HiFi reported a net profit of $90.4 million in the first half of the 2014 financial year.
