ResMed Inc. (ASX:RMD)(NYSE:RMD) has announced record revenue and income for the March quarter. The medical equipment manufacturer increased revenue by 4 per cent to almost $US398 million and earned a net income of $US90 million for the quarter.
CEO Mick Farrell, says he was pleased with the latest results in the face of challenging market conditions, particularly in the US.
Mr Farrell says its Americas business showed encouraging trends, with constant currency revenue growth of 6 percent in combined Europe and Asia-Pacific businesses for the quarter.
ResMed reported a net profit of $187.3 million in the first half of the 2014 financial year.
