Rare earths producer Lynas Corporation Limited (ASX:LYC) has won another battle in a Malaysian court concerning its operating licence.
The company has advised the Malaysian Federal Court has dismissed with costs an appeal from the Save Malaysia Stop Lynas group.
The group was seeking leave to apply for judicial review of the Atomic Energy Licensing Board's decision to issue a temporary operating licence to Lynas.
The Malaysian Federal Court is the highest court in Malaysia and its latest decision affirms previous decisions by the Court of Appeal and the Kuantan High Court.
Shares in Lynas Corporation fell 5.41 per cent to close at $0.175 before the announcement was made yesterday.
Lynas Corporation widened its net loss to $59.3 million in the first half of the 2014 financial year.
