Crown Resorts Limited (ASX:CWN) has pulled off a major win with Heston Blumenthal's The Fat Duck Restaurant set to move to Crown Melbourne Resort.
The three Michelin starred restaurant will temporarily relocate for a six month visit from February 2015 before returning home to the United Kingdom.
Crown has described the move as unprecedented for a restaurant of such renown which will see Heston take the entire Fat Duck team with him to Australia.
While the temporary relocation will be the first international restaurant opening for Heston Blumenthal Crown’s ties will continue with the celebrity chef.
Following The Fat Duck’s six month stint at Crown Melbourne Resort Dinner by Heston Blumenthal will open in the same location.
Shares in Crown Resorts gained 0.73 per cent yesterday to end the first quarter of the year at $16.63.
Crown Resorts generated a net profit of $382 million in the first half of the 2014 financial year.
