Navitas sees record first semester enrolments

Company News

Navitas Limited (ASX:NVT) has announced record enrolments for its University Programs in the first semester but warned enrolments are still down from their peak.

The global education services provider has boosted equivalent full time student units to more than 18,000 in the first semester of the year, up 6 per cent on the previous record.

However the company says total Australian enrolments are still down 13 per cent from the peak even with the addition of new colleges and campuses.

Navitas has also advised total enrolments continue to decline at low fee colleges in Kenya and Sri Lanka while Curtin Singapore also weighed on the divisional growth rate.

Navitas reported a net profit of $36 million in the first half of the 2014 financial year
