eBet buys business intelligence tech provider

Gaming provider eBet Limited (ASX:EBT) has bought a business intelligence technology provider to the gaming and hospitality industry named CDOL. 
 
eBet believes the acquisition will enhance its gaming systems product through providing customers state-of-the-art business intelligence capabilities. 
 
The acquisition cost includes an initial payment of $350,000 and a maximum of $350,000 in earn-out payments over three years. 
 
CDOL generates annual revenues of about $1.2 million and assists venues through storing, analysing and reporting financial, gaming, membership and marketing data.
 
eBet CEO and Managing Director Tony Toohey says the company’s clients will now have access to business intelligence tools including data mining, visualisation and analytics.  
 
eBet reported a net profit of $1.1 million in the first half of the 2014 financial year.
