Kimberley Diamonds achieves record auction prices

Kimberley Diamonds Ltd (ASX:KDL) has achieved record prices for its rough diamonds at auction in Antwerp, Belgium. 
 
Kimberley Diamonds took over the Ellendale Diamond Project in Western Australia just over a year ago and today announced a 17.2% rise in sales price to US$207.33 per carat. The rise was reported across all rough diamond sizes.
 
The Ellendale Mine is the world’s leading source of fancy yellow diamonds, producing nearly half of global supply.
 
Kimberley Diamonds reported a net profit of $2.3 million dollars for the period ending June 30, 2013.
