Seven West Media Limited
(ASX:SWM) has posted a 5.5 per cent gain in underlying profit despite a 1.1 per cent decline in total revenue for the first half of Fiscal 2014. The group posted a net profit of $150.1 million for the half as EBITDA fell by 4.6 per cent to $275 million.
CEO Tom Worner said the Seven lead the free-to-air television broadcast market and continues to show healthy margins in the print area. Media market conditions are tipped to remain soft.
