TradeWindow Holdings Limited (NZX: TWL) today issued a clarification regarding its agreement with global dairy group Lactalis. The NZX-listed software company specialises in providing digital solutions for exporters, importers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to drive productivity and increase connectivity. Its integrated software platform enables customers to more efficiently run back-end operations, share information, and securely collaborate across a global supply chain. TradeWindow confirmed it would supply its Prodoc export documentation software for Lactalis’ extensive Australian and New Zealand export operations, marking a significant partnership.
The clarification addresses an earlier statement by TradeWindow, which had described the Lactalis contract as being of “significant value” to the company. TradeWindow now emphasises that the significance of this contract lies primarily in its strategic value rather than its monetary contribution. The company explicitly noted that the financial value of the agreement falls below the threshold that would qualify it as a material contract under NZX listing rules, providing transparency to its investors.
The strategic importance of partnering with a major industry player like Lactalis is further underscored by the dairy giant’s recent expansion in the region. Lactalis notably acquired Fonterra’s global consumer and associated businesses, including the Mainland Group, in March 2026, solidifying its presence across Australasia. This integration positions TradeWindow within the operational framework of a rapidly expanding global food exporter, making the collaboration a key strategic win for the software provider, irrespective of the contract’s non-material monetary size.
