WA Gold Limited (ASX: WAU), a Western Australian-focused gold developer, announced on 13th October 2026 the successful completion of a high-resolution Sub-Audio Magnetic (SAM) geophysical survey at its 100%-owned Bullabulling Project, located approximately 30km west of Coolgardie in Western Australia. The survey has identified nine compelling magnetometric conductivity (MMC) anomalies, which collectively span over 4km in aggregate strike length, significantly advancing the company’s exploration efforts in the region.
These newly defined anomalies are strategically situated along two key structural corridors previously targeted by WA Gold: the interpreted Bullabulling Shear Zone (BBSZ) and a prospective shear zone associated with the regional-scale ultramafic contact. Importantly, the anomalies either coincide with or are along strike from gold anomalism detected in WA Gold’s recent reconnaissance drilling. This includes an end-of-hole anomaly in drill hole 26BBRC027, which returned 4 metres at 0.25 grams per tonne gold from 40 metres to end-of-hole.
The completion of this SAM survey provides WA Gold with a substantial and well-defined target pipeline for its upcoming reverse circulation (RC) drilling program. WA Gold’s CEO, Ben Pollard, commented, “This SAM survey has delivered exactly what we were looking for. Having over 4km of strike to work with in our next round of drilling gives us multiple shots at discovery, and we believe it materially improves our chances of finding a new gold deposit at Bullabulling.” The company plans to integrate the SAM data with its existing geochemical and drilling datasets to prioritise targets for deeper RC drilling, while also progressing a Heritage Agreement with the Marlinyu Ghoorlie Native Title Group.
