Turners Automotive Group (ASX: TRA) has announced its first-quarter FY27 dividend, with directors declaring a fully imputed dividend of 7 cents per share. Turners Automotive Group Limited, an NZX Top 50 company, is an integrated financial services group primarily operating in the automotive sector. This dividend matches the 7 cents per share paid in the corresponding period of FY26, indicating consistency in shareholder returns. The announcement, released on 5 October 2026, provides clarity on the company’s distribution strategy for the new financial year.

Shareholders will receive the Q1 FY27 dividend on 29 October 2026. The crucial record date for eligibility has been set for 13 October 2026, meaning shares will trade ex-dividend from 12 October 2026. Additionally, the company confirmed that a Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRP) will apply to this distribution. Participants in the DRP will benefit from a 2% discount on the market price of shares issued under the plan, offering an incentive for eligible shareholders to increase their holding.

The total cash associated with this distribution is approximately NZD $6,417,376.07. For the DRP, the market price of shares will be determined between 14 October 2026 and 16 October 2026, with the strike price to be announced on 19 October 2026. Shareholders wishing to participate in the DRP must submit their participation notices by 19 October 2026. The new shares issued under the DRP programme will be sourced from a new issue, further detailing the company’s capital management strategy. The dividend is fully imputed at an imputation rate of 28%.
