The temporary halt affects the Metrics Master Income Trust (ASX:MXT), Metrics Income Opportunities Trust (ASX:MOT), and Metrics Real Estate Multi-Strategy Fund (ASX:MRE). The company noted that these funds have entered a trading pause pending a further announcement, as communicated on 28 September 2026.

The aforementioned funds are managed by Metrics Credit Partners Pty Limited (Metrics), which operates as an affiliate investment manager of Pinnacle. Pinnacle Investment Management Group Limited maintains a significant equity interest in Metrics Credit Holdings Pty Limited, the holding company of Metrics, holding approximately 35%. This affiliation underscores the importance of Metrics to Pinnacle’s overall financial performance.

For the financial year ended 30 June 2026, Metrics Credit Holdings Pty Limited made a notable contribution to Pinnacle’s net profit after tax (NPAT). Metrics contributed approximately $12.6 million to Pinnacle’s total NPAT of $176.7 million. The temporary trading pause for MXT, MOT, and MRE is explicitly stated to be in anticipation of a forthcoming announcement, with no further details provided by Pinnacle at this time regarding the nature of the impending disclosure.
