Aguia Resources Limited (ASX: AGR), a multi-commodity resources company with phosphate projects in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and gold projects in Bolívar, Colombia, has provided an update on its Três Estradas Phosphate Project (TEPP) and commercial activities. The company reported stockpiling 25,000 tonnes of pre-processed phosphate ore for El Niño and secured 11,000 tonnes in long-term sales agreements, with local bank SICREDI approving customer credit.
Aguia is actively expanding its market presence, negotiating additional potential orders of about 11,000 tonnes. A new 25 kg bagging machine, due mid-October 2026, is set to broaden supply to smaller agricultural producers. Internationally, a branch has been established in Uruguay, with Pampafos product registration anticipated by mid-October 2026 after positive engagements at a major agricultural fair.
The company is simultaneously addressing a judicial challenge concerning TEPP’s environmental licence. On 15 September 2026, the Federal Regional Court for the 4th Region partially upheld an appeal, declaring the licensing invalid based on an assumption of non-commencement of operations. Aguia’s legal team will file a motion for clarification, arguing active operations and potential material harm from suspension. FEPAM, the environmental regulator, and various agricultural and industrial bodies publicly support Aguia.
Despite the judicial decision, Aguia anticipates no interruption to operations, leveraging its substantial stockpiled inventory and the separate operating licence for its Caçapava processing facility. The current ore inventory is projected to support sales for the next six months. Managing Director and CEO Timothy Hosking reiterated commitment, highlighting TEPP’s significant local employment and economic benefits in the Lavras do Sul and Caçapava do Sul regions.
