Empire Resources Limited (ASX: ERL) today issued supplementary information concerning the rare earth mineralisation encountered at its Yuinmery project. The announcement, dated 17 September 2026, delivers the comprehensive JORC Table 1, following a previous disclosure on 16 September 2026. Empire Resources Limited is an Australian resources company primarily engaged in mineral exploration and development. This update details the sampling and data methodologies applied in assessing the discovery.

The JORC Table 1 outlines sampling and drilling techniques, including AirCore (AC) and Reverse Circulation (RC) methods. One-metre samples were collected, with four-metre composite samples from RC drilling. Samples underwent drying, crushing, and pulverising, followed by Aqua Regia digestion with an ICP-MS/OES finish for multi-element analysis. Intertek and Jinnings Laboratories performed this work, extracting full Rare Earth Element (REE) assays from historical data.

Quality control was central. Sample recoveries generally exceeded 90%. Geological logging was completed for all drill holes. Field duplicates and laboratory standards were submitted, with no issues reported. Data was systematically managed from field logs to a central database, with no adjustments made to raw assay data. Drill hole collars were located using handheld GPS, ensuring spatial accuracy.

Data spacing included drill hole intervals of 40-100 metres across section lines and 20-40 metres along lines. Sampling orientation was deemed appropriate, with drilling bias considered insignificant given the shallow, often flat-lying oxide mineralisation. Strict sample security protocols were observed. The company confirmed no audits were required as procedures were adequate, and no QA/QC issues were identified.
