Aurizon Holdings Limited
(ASX:AZJ) has posted a net profit of $107.3 million for H1 of Fiscal 2014, 39 per cent down on the $175.7 million for the same period a year ago.
Impairments on rolling stock, infrastructure projects and a $25 million voluntary redundancy program diminished the result. The company predicts it is on track to reach H2 production guidance.
Aurizon will pay an interim dividend of 8 cents.
