National Australia Bank Limited
(ASX:NAB) has appointed technology industry veteran Geraldine McBride as a non-executive director on its board.
The lender says Ms McBride has extensive international experience in the technology industry.
She was a former president of global software company SAP in North America and also held senior positions with the company in Asia.
In her 26-year career, Ms McBride has also worked in senior roles at Dell and IBM
The role will take effect from March 4.
NAB generated a net profit of $5.46 billion in fiscal 2013.
