Coal of Africa Limited
(ASX:CZA) has appointed David Brown as CEO and Executive Director.
Mr Brown has been acting in the role since June last year and prior to his involvement with Coal of Africa, he worked in senior positions including CFO and CEO at Impala Platinum Holdings for nearly 14 years.
He is a chartered accountant who also serves as a non-executive director at Vodacom Group and Edcon Holdings.
Bernard Pryor has been appointed as interim chairman of Coal of Africa.
Coal of Africa booked a net loss of $159.7 million in fiscal 2013.
