Coppermoly Limited (ASX: COY), an ASX-listed mineral exploration and resource development company focused on copper/gold/molybdenum exploration projects in Queensland’s Mount Isa Region, has announced significant changes to its leadership structure. The company has expanded its Australian portfolio by acquiring new Western Australian tenements, prospective for Tungsten, Lithium-Rubidium, and Titanium, bringing its total project footprint to 1,805 square kilometres. In an announcement on 24 August 2026, Coppermoly advised that the resignation of Mr Dickson Leah as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer has taken effect immediately, with Mr Leah also ceasing his tenure as a director of the company.
Following Mr Leah’s departure, the Board has appointed Mr Brett Tucker, who currently serves as the Company’s Company Secretary, as a Non-Executive Director. This appointment was effective from 21 August 2026. Mr Tucker will serve in this capacity on an interim basis until a permanent replacement Director is appointed to the Board.
In conjunction with these management changes, the Board of Coppermoly Limited has initiated a strategic review of the company’s operations. This comprehensive review will encompass the status and exploration results of its current projects, as well as an assessment of additional acquisition opportunities available to the company.
