Cadence Opportunities Fund Reports Strong Financial Growth and Declares Robust Dividends for FY26

Cadence Opportunities Fund Limited (ASX: CDO) has announced a substantial uplift in its financial performance for the year ended 30 June 2026, as detailed in its Appendix 4E Preliminary Final Report. The company, a listed public entity operating in the securities industry, generates revenue from dividend income, interest income, and the sale of financial assets at fair value. For the reporting period, revenue from ordinary activities surged by 202% to $10,570,224. This strong top-line growth translated into a significant increase in profit after tax attributable to members, which rose by 279% to $5,660,767. Basic earnings per share also improved considerably, climbing to 36.0 cents from 9.5 cents in the prior year.

In conjunction with its robust results, the Board has declared a fully franked final dividend of 7.5 cents per share, payable on 15 October 2026, with an Ex-Date of 29 September 2026 and a Record Date of 30 September 2026. A Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRP) is active for this final dividend. Furthermore, shareholders will receive a fully franked special dividend of 2.0 cents per share, scheduled for payment on 23 December 2026, with its Ex-Date on 15 December 2026 and Record Date on 16 December 2026.

Before tax, the profit from ordinary activities attributable to members soared by 355% to $7,990,779. The company’s net tangible asset (NTA) backing after tax also saw a healthy increase, reaching $2.26 per share as of 30 June 2026, up from $2.04 in the previous corresponding period. The preliminary report is based on the 2026 Financial Report, which is currently undergoing an audit process.
