Ignite Limited (ASX: IGN), a recruitment and human resources services company primarily providing contingent labour and permanent placement services, has released its audited full-year results for the financial year ended 30 June 2026. The company reported revenue from ordinary activities of $73.193 million, an 18.8% decrease from the previous corresponding period’s $90.156 million. Despite the revenue decline, Ignite maintained a statutory profit after tax of $0.872 million, albeit a 29.4% reduction from $1.235 million in FY25. The Board declared a final fully franked dividend of $0.03 per share, bringing the total full-year dividend to $0.06 fully franked.
The financial summary highlighted a normalised operating profit of $1.172 million for FY26, adjusted for $0.300 million in non-recurring expenditure related to the closure of its loss-making Technology Solutions business. Gross profit decreased by 19.6% to $9.424 million, though the gross profit margin was maintained at 13.0%. Employee benefits expense saw a 20.3% reduction of $1.511 million, with internal headcount decreasing from 40 to 34, reflecting a continued focus on productivity. Other operating expenses also decreased by 6.4%.
Operationally, Ignite’s core Specialist Recruitment business, which primarily serves Federal Government clients in Technology, Engineering, and Business Support, accounted for over 99% of its gross margin. The company’s cash and cash equivalents significantly increased to $6.717 million from $5.321 million, driven by net cash from operating activities of $2.326 million. Importantly, the business remains debt-free, with its debtor facility undrawn. Ignite stated its commitment to increasing market share in the challenging Federal Government sector while continuing to manage costs tightly.
