Laramide Resources Ltd. (ASX: LAM) announced on August 13, 2026, the successful closing of its non-brokered private placement, generating gross proceeds of $5,010,000. Laramide is a uranium mine development and exploration company with significant projects in the United States and Australia, focused on exploring and developing high-quality uranium assets in Tier-1 uranium jurisdictions. The company issued 8,350,000 common shares to a strategic investor at a price of $0.60 per common share, as a follow-up to its press release on August 11, 2026. This significant capital injection is set to bolster the company’s financial position.

The gross proceeds of $5,010,000 derived from this offering are earmarked for two primary uses: enhancing the company’s working capital and funding general corporate purposes. This strategic allocation aims to support Laramide’s ongoing operations and its portfolio of advanced uranium projects. All securities issued under the placement will be subject to a statutory hold period of four months plus one day from the date of issuance, in compliance with applicable securities legislation.

The successful closure of the offering was contingent upon the satisfaction of various conditions. These include the procurement of all necessary regulatory and other approvals, specifically mentioning the approval required from the Toronto Stock Exchange. This structured approach ensures adherence to market regulations and governance standards. The company’s portfolio comprises predominantly advanced uranium projects in districts with historical production or superior geological prospectivity, selected for their size, production potential, and low-technical risk profile.
