OceanaGold Corporation
(ASX:OGC) says its posted record gold production, exceeding guidance.
The company produced 325,732 ounces of gold, slightly ahead of the top end of its guidance range.
OceanaGold’s copper production also beat expectations, with 23,059 tonnes produced.
CEO and Managing Director Mick Wilkes says the company continues to drive down its cost profile while increasing cash margins.
OceanaGold booked a net loss of $68.4 million for the first half of the 2013 calendar year.
