Westpac (ASX:WBC) appoints Acting Group Executive Enterprise Services

More shakeups at the executive level for Westpac Banking Corporation (ASX:WBC) as it comes to terms with the AUSTRAC statement of claim.

After close of trade yesterday the bank announced that Alastair Welsh has been appointed Acting Group Executive Enterprise Services.

The Group Executive Enterprise Services is responsible for leading the Group’s operations functions, property and procurement, remediation and coordination of the Group-wide transformation.

Incoming Acting Chief Executive Officer Peter King says Alastair’s “strong relationships and extensive banking experience will help ensure [the bank] maintains [its] focus on [its] business agenda”.

Shares in Wetpac Banking Corporation (ASX:WBC) closed 0.44 per cent lower at $24.70.
