Cirrus (ASX:CNW) joins Rio Tinto’s IT Vendor Consultancy Panel

IT solutions provider Cirrus Networks Holdings (ASX:CNW) has entered into a new IT contract with global mining giant, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO).

The contract gives Cirrus a position on the APAC West IT Vendor Ecosphere Consultancy Panel. The panel will give Cirrus the opportunity to bid for IT infrastructure services against a limited number of other pre-qualified providers.

Cirrus Managing Director, Matt Sullivan, says “Cirrus is excited at the opportunity to collaborate with such a high-quality global organization. We are proud that we have been able to demonstrate our capability in delivering high value solutions to the resources sector and look forward to showcasing these to Rio Tinto over the coming years.”

The contract has a 3 year duration, with a 2 year extension option.

Shares in Cirrus Networks Holdings (ASX:CNW) closed flat at 4.2 cents yesterday.
