Northern Star Resources
(ASX:NST) has acquired a relevant interest in 59.3 per cent of Echo Resources.
The nominees of Northern Star, CFO Ryan Gurner and Legal Counsel and Assistant Company Secretary, Sarah Curnow have been appointed to the Board of Echo, and the remaining Echo directors, with the exception of Alan Thom, have tendered their resignation.
Kate Stoney will stay as he Echo Company Secretary.
Managing Director of Echo, Victor Rajasooriar will leave along with other head office personnel.
John Zimmerman, Echo’s Registered Manager, has been appointed as interim Chief Executive Officer.
Shares in Northern Star Resources
(ASX:NST) closed 1.1 per cent higher at $11.38.
