First gold bullion sold from Jaurdi Gold Project

Gold producer, Beacon Minerals (ASX:BCN) has sold its first gold bullion from the Jaurdi Gold Project.

Approximately 257 ounces was recovered from the initial gold bullion which has been sold at a price of $2,190 an ounce.

The second bar has been produced and dispatched for refining at the Perth Mint.

Managing Director, Graham McGarry, says the company is extremely excited given the record Australian gold price.

Exploration drilling is set to commence on 27 September 2019 with commercial production expected to commence on 1 October 2019.

Shares in Beacon Minerals (ASX:BCN) are trading 7.1 per cent higher at 4 cents.
