Transurban’s toll revenue rises

Transurban Group’s (ASX:TCL) toll revenue increased by 12.6 per cent to just over $228 million in the December quarter.
 
Proportional toll revenue, Transurban’s preferred measure, increased by 12.6 per cent to just over $281 million, compared to the previous corresponding period.
 
For the half year to December 31, toll revenue rose by 13.3 per cent to about $450 million, compared to the same time a year earlier.
 
Proportional toll revenue lifted by 13.1 per cent to $556.2 million.
 
Average traffic growth across the road network was 10.7 per cent for the quarter.
 
Transurban delivered a net profit of $174.5 million in fiscal 2013.
