Beadell Resources Limited
(ASX:BDR) says it has reached record gold production for the quarter ended December 31 from its Tucano Gold Mine in Brazil.
Gold production at the Tucano plant was strong in December, totalling over 60,800 ounces with gold recovery at 92 per cent.
Beadell says it recovered 116,000 ounces of gold in the second half of 2013, roughly in line with guidance of 120,000 ounces.
However total gold ore, waste and iron ore mined for the December quarter came in at 4.7 million tonnes, missing the forecast of 6.9 million tonnes.
Beadell Resources delivered a net profit of $37 million in the first half of its 2013 financial year.
