Sundance Energy buys US land

Sundance Energy Australia Limited (ASX:SEA) will purchase an additional 10-thousand acres in Oklahoma for $US 5.9 million.
 
The acquired assets increase the total project to approximately 41,000 net mineral acres targeting the Mississippian and Woodford formations.
 
Sundance says the purchase is strategic to enhance operational efficiency.
 
The company is currently operating a two-rig horizontal drilling program to appraise its Logan County project.
 
Sundance Energy generated a net profit of $1.4 million in the first half of its 2013 financial year.
