Newly listed Freelancer Limited
(ASX:FLN) has entered into an agreement with Multimedia Development Corporation in Malaysia to educate underprivileged communities about its business.
As part of the project, MDeC will teach Malaysia’s bottom 40 per cent communities on the potential of freelance work via Freelancer to augment their income.
MDeC will engage a company to conduct IT skills training as well as best practice and use of the Freelancer website.
CEO Matt Barrie says the company is growing rapidly across the region and Malaysia is key to the strategy.
