Telstra confident of mobile growth

Telstra Corporation Limited (ASX:TLS) chief executive David Thodey predicts a tripling of the mobile market by 2018, according to media reports.
 
Mr Thodey told media that even though most people have a mobile phone, the Australian mobile market is yet to fully mature.
 
He says Australia has about 32 million mobile devices and over the next four to five years that will go to 100 million.
 
Mr Thodey say there isn’t another industry anywhere in the world where he is seeing a nearly a doubling of demand every year.
 
Telstra delivered a full-year net profit of $3.86 billion in fiscal 2013.
