Crown re-signs Alexander

Company News

Crown Limited (ASX:CWN) has extended the position of its executive deputy chairman John Alexander for an indefinite period but scrapped an annual consumer price index increase in his salary.

The entertainment group says Mr Alexander will also now be required to wait out a year-long restraint of employment if he stepped down from the position.

The extended terms replace Mr Alexander's previous end date of November last year.

All other terms and conditions from Mr Alexander's employment arrangement are to continue, the group said.

Mr Alexander has previously held senior executive positions at other Packer-owned companies including ACP magazines, Publishing and Broadcasting Ltd and Consolidated Media Holdings Ltd.

Crown generated a net profit of $395.8 million in fiscal 2013.
