Seven warns tough times ahead

Company News

Seven Group Holdings Limited (ASX:SVW) has delivered a record full-year result of $488.6 million, up 177 per cent on year.

The solid result was driven largely by Wes Trac’s successful first half.

But Managing Director Don Voelte says the second half was challenging across all of its industrial services businesses as a result of a downturn in the mining market.

Excluding significant items, underlying net profit grew 19 per cent to $396.6 million.

Seven is tipping EBIT to be down 30 to 40 per cent in the current financial year amid challenging market conditions.

The company has declared a final fully franked dividend of 20 cents per share.
