Woodside Petroleum Limited
(ASX:WPL) has generated a first half net profit of $US873 million, a 7.5 per cent increase on last year.
In the year to June 30, revenue was $US2.86 billion, 7.6 per cent higher than the previous year.
Woodside’s first half production of 41.9 million barrels of oil equivalent was a first half record for the company.
But its production target for the full year has been revised to a range of 85 to 89 million barrels of oil equivalent.
The group will pay a fully-franked interim dividend of 83 US cents, after paying a special dividend of 63 US cents in May.
