Asciano’s Limited
(ASX:AIO) full year net profit was $340 million, a 41 per cent increase on year.
In the year June 30, revenue was $3.7 billion, a 7.8 per cent increase compared to the previous year.
Aciano says it has benefited from new contracts and good volume growth, but that was offset by weakness in business exposed to the domestic economy.
The company expects continued earnings growth in the year ahead, although at a slower rate than in 2013.
Asciano will pay a fully-franked final dividend of 6.25 cents, taking the full year dividend to 11.5 cents.
