CIMIC Group’s CPB Contractors win $379m Nepean Hospital project

CIMIC Group’s (ASX:CIM) CPB Contractors have won a NSW Government contract worth almost $400 million.

The project involves the building  and construction a new 14-storey clinical building, for Nepean Hospital Redevelopment Stage 1.

The government funded project at the existing hospital in Kingswood in Western Sydney, will include a new emergency department, more than 200 overnight beds and over 12 new operating theatres.

Work has already kicked off and it will be completed in 2021. 

CPB Contractors’ were recently selected by the NSW Government to develop the Campbelltown Hospital Redevelopment Stage 2 project.

CIMIC Group is dominate in providing infrastructure to Australia’s health facilities and motorways.

Shares CIMIC Group (ASX:CIM) are trading 0.1 per cent lower at $31.39. Year-on-year its trading 37 per cent lower. On five years its up 37 per cent.
