ALS buys a Mexican lab testing business

ALS (ASX:ALQ) today announced the acquisition of Laboratorios de Control ARJ, a large pharmaceutical testing lab in Mexico.

The company has revenues of over $30 million and employs over 500 people.

They specialise in providing quality control for medicines, biological products, cosmetics and medical devices and services many of the largest global pharmaceutical companies.

Shares in ALS (ASX:ALQ) closed 2.94 per cent higher at $7.01 yesterday.
