News Corp CEO steps down

News Corp (ASX:NNC) Chief Executive Officer Kim Williams has stepped down and will be replaced by Julian Clarke.
 
News Corp says Mr Clarke will begin in the role on August 12.
 
Mr Clarke has worked with News Corp Australia and its associated companies for three decades, most recently as chairman of The Herald and Weekly Times.
 
News Corp executive chairman Rupert Murdoch welcomed Mr Clarke to the position.
 
Mr Williams was appointed chief executive of News Corp Australia after 10 years as chief executive of Foxtel.
