Credit Corp posts strong growth from consumer lending and US debt buying businesses

Credit Corp (ASX:CCP) has announced a 9 per cent increase in net profit after tax (NPAT) to $70.3 million for the 2019 fiscal year when compared to the year earlier period.

Revenue rose 8 per cent to $324 million.

The Australian debt buyer's consumer loan book increased by 16 per cent to $212 million.

Credit Corp has declared a final 2019 ordinary fully franked dividend 36.0 cents.

The company says said the result reflects strong growth from the consumer lending and US debt buying businesses, which together represented over 36 per cent of 2019 earnings.

Shares in Credit Corp (ASX:CCP) are trading 5.6 per cent lower at $24.95.
