Challenger Exploration geophysical survey results

Company News

by Katrina Bullock

Gold and Copper Producer, Challenger Exploration (ASX:CEL), has uncovered two large targets below the limit of historic drilling at its El Guayabo Gold and Copper Project in Southern Ecuador.

The results come from its first geophysical survey at the El Guayabo Project.

One of the targets is 300 to 400m wide, has a vertical extent greater than 500 metres and is open at depth.

No drilling or surface exploration has been conducted in the vicinity of this previously undiscovered target.

Measurement of the chargeability properties of the core further support the interpretation that the targets likely relate to breccias carrying gold, copper and or silver mineralisation.

Shares in Challenger Exploration (ASX:CEL) opened flat at 5 cents.
