ResMed Inc
(ASX:RMD) earned $73 million in the fourth quarter ended June 30.
The maker of devices for sleep-disordered breathing, ResMed says it had record revenue for the quarter of $414.6 million - 11 per cent more than the same quarter last year.
For the year ended June 30, 2013, net income was $307.1 million, an increase of 21 percent over the previous year.
The company says fourth quarter net income was reduced by a $17.7 million charge for settling litigation with the University of Sydney.
CEO Mick Farrell says the quarterly dividend has increased 47 per cent to 25 cents per share.
