Geodynamics Limited
(ASX:GDY) says there’s been progress amid international interest in its Habanero Pilot Plant.
The group says the operation of the plant has so far met or exceeded all planned operational parameters.
The plant, which was commissioned on April 30, produced Australia’s first Enhanced Geothermal Systems generated power.
CEO Geoff Ward says the Habanero-4 well has been the most productive well drilled by the company.
He says the trial demonstrates the practical capability of EGS resources to supply reliable long-term power.
Geodynamics booked a net loss of $5.2 million in the first half of fiscal 2013.
