Unilife finalises major Unifill contract

Company News

Unilife Corporation (ASX:UNS) says it has successfully negotiated a long term supply contract for its Unifill syringe with a global pharmaceutical company.

The drug delivery company says a contract is finalized with all terms having been agreed upon and has now entered the formal execution process.

Unilife says it is also expecting to finalise contract negotiations with several additional pharmaceutical companies relating to its syringe platform, which it believes can deliver greater rewards than the initial contract.

CEO Alan Shortall says a steady progression of transformational, revenue generating announcements can be expected between now and the end of the calendar year.

Mr Shortall says Unilife remains on track to achieve its business milestones for 2013 and beyond.

Unilife reported a $26.1 million loss for the first half of the current financial year.
