Transpacific chief resigns

Company News

Transpacific Industries Group Limited (ASX:TPI) Chief Executive Officer Kevin Campbell has resigned and Australia's largest waste management company is now searching for a replacement.

The group says Mr Campbell is unable to provide the longer term commitment required to drive the continuing transformation of the business.

Transpacific chairman Martin Hudson says Mr Campbell’s leadership has been important at a time when the group has begun a process of transformation and has achieved a stronger capital position.

Spencer Stuart will run an international search for a successor.

Transpacific posted a net profit of $42 million for the first half of the current financial year.
