Ausenco Limited
(ASX:AAX) Chairman Wayne Goss has resigned from his position effective immediately, after serving in the role for 11 years.
Ausenco says Mr Goss will be replaced by George Lloyd, an independent non-executive director of Ausenco since 2005 and acting chairman for the past three months.
Mr Lloyd says he is optimistic about the mining services company’s performance under his chairmanship, saying the group has a clear and focused strategy.
He says Ausenco is expanding its service offering and widening its geographic coverage.
Ausenco generated a net profit of $41.4 million for its 2012 financial year.
