Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited (ASX:CFU, AIM:CFU) is heating up its presence in Switzerland after inking a distribution partnership.
The developer of small generators has teamed up with Novogaz to drive the distribution of its BlueGen technology.
BlueGen units use fuel cell technology to convert natural gas into electricity and heat for homes and other buildings.
Under the partnership both companies will join forces to distribute the units in the French-speaking part of Switzerland.
CEO Bob Kennett says the deal is advantageous for Ceramic Fuel Cells and strengthens its European network.
Both partners believe the Swiss market is a major opportunity with strong interest in clean energy generation and a substantial need for non-central solutions.
Ceramic Fuel Cells booked a net loss of $12.6 million in the first half of the 2013 financial year.
