Seven West Media Limited
(ASX:SWM) has announced Tim Worner as the company’s new CEO, just 12 months after Don Voelte took on the role.
Mr Worner is currently CEO of broadcast television for Seven West Media and he will take up his new promotion from July 1, 2013.
In his new role, Mr Worner will guide the development of the multiple platform media company across the Seven Network, the West Australian, Pacific Magazines and the company’s joint venture with Yahoo.
Mr Worner will replace Don Voelte who will continue to be involved with Seven West Media as a Director on the Board and has accepted the role of non-executive chairman to take effect on July 1.
Seven West Media recently announced it expects net profits after tax to fall by 2-to-4 per cent this financial year, but profits were expected to rise beyond full year 2013.
Seven West Media reported a net loss of 109.3 million in the first half of the current financial year.
