SP AusNet
(ASX:SPN) hasposted higher full year profits, despite less electricity being distributed because of higher prices.
In the year to March, net profit rose 9.5 per cent to $279.1 million while electricity volumes fell 1.2 per cent.
Full year revenue rose 6.8 per cent to $1.64 billion
A final dividend of 4.1cents has been declared, up from 4 cents, giving an annual payout of 8.2 cents.
The energy distributor saw revenue growth underpinned by the electricity unit, where revenue rose 9.1 per cent.
