JB Hi-Fi Limited
(ASX:JBH) has lifted its full-year sales and net profit guidance amid stronger than expected sales in the second half.
The retailer says sales will total $3.3 billion and net profit will come in between $112 and $116 million, a slight rise on its previous guidance of $108 to $112 million.
The expected net profit result would mark a 7 to 11 per cent increase on the 2011/12 financial year.
Sales growth in Australia and New Zealand for the four months to April was 10.3 per cent and comparable store sales growth was 3 per cent.
Revenue in the period lifted 2.34 per cent to $1.816 billion.
In the current financial year, JB Hi-Fi has opened 13 stores in Australia, pushing its portfolio to 164 shop fronts and 13 New Zealand outlets.
JB Hi-Fi generated a net profit of $82.05 million for the first half of the current financial year.
